In 2023, Canada Cape Breton University will offer scholarships to international students
The University is currently accepting applications from eligible domestic and international students interested in applying for its entrance scholarships for undergraduate students enrolling in a degree program. Cape Breton University Entrance Scholarships are available for enrolling applicants.
The scholarships are applicable to and awarded to undergraduate students with outstanding academic performance and/or students who are obviously in financial need.

Each year, $2.5 million in scholarships and bursaries are made available to new students at CBU thanks to the generosity of benefactors. Entrance scholarships are given consideration for students enrolling directly from high school or through partners under articulation agreements based on their academic performance.
Eligibility Requirements
In order to be eligible for any Cape Breton University Entrance Scholarships, applicants must fulfill the requirements listed below.
- Candidates must be recognized as either domestic or foreign students.
- If you are a student with an articulation agreement, you must be enrolled in your transfer program right now.
- must exhibit outstanding academic progress and success at the preceding study level (s).
- Minimum 80 percent average required, as established by CBU, with no failing grades.
