Japanese Government (METI) Internship Program for Foreign Nationals 2022: The METI Government of Japan Internship Program, which is wholly sponsored by Japan, is open to eligible foreign citizens (students and graduates in OECD/DAC countries) and is administered by the Japanese government through the Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI).
People who are highly skilled and knowledgeable, currently residing in one of the nations on the OECD/DAC list other than the People's Republic of China, and who are nationals of one of those nations may apply for the METI internship program

Qualifications | METI Government of Japan Internship Program 2022.
- Candidates must fulfill each of the requirements listed below to be eligible for the 2022 METI Government of Japan Internship Program:
- having an understanding of the program's goals and a desire to lend his or her expertise to the operations of the host firm
- Having a residence in any nation in the OECD/DAC list except the People's Republic of China and nationality in any nation on the OECD/DAC lists aside from the People's Republic of China
- The ability to perform the internship work for 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, in the agreed-upon location, in the case of Course-A, a designated work space.
- English and/or Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N3 or higher) (Business level).

- ability to participate in pre-and post-orientation
