Applications are being accepted from suitably qualified African applicants for the Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholarships for studies at the University of Oxford for the 2023 academic session. AfOx Scholarships from Mastercard Foundation 2023–2024 | details
African young adults who are enthusiastic, grounded in their communities, and worldly-minded are supported by the Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholarship program to pursue graduate studies at Oxford University.
The Mastercard Foundation and AfOx similar principles of collegiality, empathy, commitment, inclusivity, and community serve as the foundation for the scholarship program. The Scholarship is a component of the larger AfOx Graduate Scholars Program, which supports African students in accessing opportunities at Oxford and thriving both while attending the University and after.
Scholars will receive support to accept 4-6 month placements in top African-based organizations after completing their Master's programs for their Ubuntu Period of Service.
