Description of the scholarship:
Applications are being accepted for scholarships for Masters and Doctoral programs at South African universities in 2023 from the Canon Collins Trust and Tom Queba Memorial Fund.
We will offer funds for a maximum of two years as well as the chance to improve your leadership and academic abilities through planned activities.
Our scholars have the potential to influence change toward just and equitable civil societies across all of our scholarships.

The primary condition of the scholarship is that the planned study directly contributes to social and/or environmental development, notably to the improvement of the lives and livelihoods of South Africa's most vulnerable citizens.
The following fields will get awards for social change: justice, education, humanities and the arts, sciences and applied sciences.

Canon Collins Trust UK 2023 Benefits of scholarship
The scholarship package will be worth R85,000 in 2023. The amount of funding will be given for a maximum of two years. We encourage both full-time and part-time study, and we will take applications from individuals who choose to learn remotely.
Along with organizing a yearly conference for active researchers, we also host a number of smaller activities all year long. Scholarship recipients are required to take part in these events, join our network, and make contributions.

Candidates must:
- Be a black female South African citizen who ordinarily resides in South Africa.
- Be about to graduate in the year of application or have an excellent first degree (minimum second class, upper division, or equivalent).
- Be enrolled in or submitting an application for a Masters or PhD program in a South African university.
- Only those who are qualified and satisfy ALL of the requirements mentioned should apply.
