Description of the scholarship
The University of Montréal is now offering a new scholarship program that will free overseas students from paying additional tuition fees.
The program's goals include fostering cultural diversity and assisting new international students from all around the world.
The UdeM exemption scholarship program was created to assist candidates from outside the country with their academic endeavors. The program is offered for courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels, and it will waive costs in accordance with academic excellence.

Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Graduate level studies at the University of Montreal are eligible for the University of Montreal Canada UdeM Exemption Scholarship for International Students 2022.

Benefits of a scholarship
These three levels are used to categorize the analysis' findings.
- Level A: $12,465.60 annually (two sessions, or 30 credits), or $6,232.80 per session, or $415.52 per credit
- Level B: $2,970.45 every session (15 credits) or $5,940.90 per year (2 sessions, equal to 30 credits), or $198.03 per credit
- Level C: $1,039.05 every session (15 credits) or $2,078.10 per year (2 sessions, equal to 30 credits), or $69.27 per credit
The level C award is automatically given to students who are enrolled in a certificate, major, minor, short program, or year-long program leading up to university study.
- These sums are applied to the annual tuition of $24,607.80. (30 credits).
A partial exemption scholarship from the added tuition fees typically assessed to international students is offered to assist you in your graduate studies.
- $3 262,65 per session or $9 787,95 per year (3 sessions, or 45 credits) (equivalent to 15 credits)
- This sum is applied to the annual tuition of $27,992.70. (45 credits).
The same tuition fees that are assessed to students in Québec will be used for the writing and editing sessions.
An whole waiver of the extra tuition fees typically applied to overseas students is offered to assist you in pursuing your graduate studies.
With the help of this exemption bursary, you can pay the same tuition costs as graduate students in Québec.
- For the course of your studies, you will pay $21,038.13 every year (3 sessions, or 45 credits), or $7,012.71 per session, or 15 credits.
The $25,125.93 in annual tuition fees is applied to this sum (45 credits).
The same tuition fees that are assessed to students in Québec will be used for the writing and editing sessions.

Eligibility requirements
The only evaluation factor used to decide the scholarship's worth is how well you did in school. Based on the transcripts submitted as part of the entrance application, this evaluation is made.

1. Submit an admissions form

2. Follow up on your file and get an admissions offer
You will get your "Student Centre" access codes a few days after submitting your admissions application. You can check the status of your application and download your letter of acceptance on this site.
3. Accept the admissions offer to begin the assessment.
Applying for an UdeM Exemption Scholarship is optional. To ascertain their eligibility and the amount of their exemption scholarship, new candidates' files will be reviewed.
4. Obtain the award notification and payment.
